Meetings are held on the second Saturday of alternating months. Please save the dates below. The meeting time is 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM, at the Buker Community Center, 22 Armory St, Augusta Maine.

Meeting information for 2025-2026:
February 14, 2026: Dave Dostie program has been moved to April! For this month, bring a WRAPPED (hidden) heart item that you make to exchange. Something handmade with fabric, or baked; even a painted rock, small box of candy, cookie cutter, an ornament, coaster, etc.
This month’s activity will be a “Valentine’s Day Improv” led by Jane Hann Morey and Pam Soucy.
Please bring the following supplies:
- One 12 inch square for background
- Scrap fabric smaller than 12 inches (10 to 20 pieces)
- Hand sewing needles
- Thread (2 or 3 colors)
- Embroidery floss (2 or 3 colors)
- Scissors
- Straight pins and glue sticks
You will start the process, others will use their scraps on it and you wll get it back to finish off for the April meeting.
April 11, 2026: Challenge Quilt Information Only Due. Photography with Dave Dostie is our featured speaker, for about an hour. Members bring a quilt they made based on a picture. Pam and Peggy’s Fabric Manipulation program will be included on another day.
June 13, 2026: Challenge Quilt reveal! Also as part of the program, four members will do demos for us.
August 8, 2026: Amy will teach us Interleave Piecing. Bring Sewing machines.
